Idea Behind Company

Her experience managing social media accounts for fellow agents revealed a market need for accessible and professionally designed templates. A conversation with a fitness trainer about subscription models sparked the idea to create a similar offering for real estate marketing. Inspired by this, Haley envisioned a scalable, community-driven platform for agents to access marketing resources.  

This idea aligned with Haley’s passion for design, her understanding of real estate, and her entrepreneurial spirit, leading her to develop a product that combines creativity and practicality.  

Creating the Company

Haley began building Coffee and Contracts while balancing multiple jobs. She spent her free time designing templates and researching membership business models. After months of planning, she launched the platform in September 2019.  

Starting small, Haley tested her idea by promoting Canva templates through Instagram. Early customer feedback helped refine the product offerings, leading her to focus on content calendars and captions, which became the toolkit’s cornerstone. To make the service accessible, she began with low pricing tiers and gradually adjusted as the product’s value increased.  

Haley leveraged free resources like Facebook groups and Google to learn about launching and running a subscription-based business, a testament to her resourcefulness and adaptability.  

Launching the Business


Coffee and Contracts was initially marketed through Instagram, where Haley connected with her audience and built a loyal following. Within weeks of launch, the platform began attracting sign-ups through word of mouth and targeted outreach to real estate influencers.
