About the Company

iDigitize was founded with a clear mission to help organizations streamline operations by utilizing low-code/no-code platforms, primarily the Microsoft Power Platform. These tools allow companies to automate tasks and analyze large amounts of data without needing to invest heavily in expensive infrastructure. iDigitize stands out in the market by offering both training and development services, ensuring that clients understand how to use the tools they adopt.

The company has established itself as an industry advisory board member in universities in the Middle East and is part of the Dubai Smart Cities initiative. Additionally, iDigitize’s staff is certified in Microsoft technologies, adding credibility and trustworthiness to their services. Through their work, they have been able to assist multinational corporations and conduct large-scale training sessions with more than 1,000 participants.

Idea Behind Company

Mumtaz Kazi came up with the idea for iDigitize while working in the airline and healthcare industries. During her time in healthcare, particularly working with Microsoft Power Platform, she saw the transformative impact that process automation could have on saving time and resources. This inspired her to explore ways to help other businesses take advantage of these technologies.

Coming from an IT and finance background, Mumtaz understood both the technical and financial aspects of running a business. Her experience in financial analysis and reporting further solidified her belief that companies could significantly benefit from digitizing their processes, leading her to start her own business. She wanted to give organizations the tools to allow employees to focus more on creativity while automation handled repetitive tasks.

Creating the Company

The foundation of iDigitize was laid through careful planning, beginning with a SWOT analysis to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Mumtaz was able to secure a partnership with her brother-in-law, who brought expertise in process management and health and safety. Together, they mapped out services that aligned with market needs and set pricing that balanced affordability with profitability.

The team also worked on establishing business partnerships early on, which helped build the company's reputation and market presence. Mumtaz and her co-founder focused on offering cost-effective and efficient services that could help businesses automate their processes without large upfront investments, making their services more accessible to smaller organizations.

Launching the Business

iDigitize officially launched in 2021 after Mumtaz obtained her business license in April and created a website in May. She resigned from her previous job in June when she landed her first customer, who brought in three times her previous salary. From there, the business grew through word of mouth and LinkedIn, with the first client providing the necessary confidence to expand further.

Marketing efforts initially focused on spreading awareness through friends, colleagues, and social media. LinkedIn played a particularly crucial role in connecting with potential clients, while traditional social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram didn’t yield significant results. However, consistent networking and building strong client relationships proved to be key to the company's growth.

Earnings

Prolific Zone now generates around $1.6 million annually, with a diverse client base across multiple industries. In 2021, the agency saw a 10% increase in profits and improved its average return on ad spend (RoAS) to 4.6. The majority of its business comes from Amazon (67%), followed by Shopify (19%) and Walmart (11%).

With plans for expansion, Quin aims to grow the company further by opening branches in Portugal and the USA. He has developed over 80 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations, train new staff, and increase monthly revenue to $400K. Advertising is planned for the future to increase global awareness of Prolific Zone, continuing its growth trajectory.
