Idea Behind Company

Joon K Lee, a New York native, came up with the idea for Inquivix while reflecting on how businesses needed effective marketing strategies to thrive. His personal journey involved dropping out of Fordham University, pursuing various interests, and eventually turning to marketing. Inspired by the potential of digital tools, he saw an opportunity to help businesses create an online presence, especially in the challenging Korean market.

Lee started his venture without external funding or capital, relying on his savings and support from family. Despite initial challenges, he found validation when securing his first client, motivating him to continue refining his business idea. His approach involved leveraging his knowledge and adapting to market needs through rigorous research and feedback.

Creating the Company

Inquivix began by offering social media services and content creation, targeting small businesses. Lee personally pitched his ideas to local shops, gaining clients through direct engagement and persistence. Research played a critical role in identifying gaps in the market, especially in SEO and digital marketing strategies, enabling the company to design services tailored to clients’ needs.

The startup was built on a lean budget, with Lee developing the website himself using WordPress. He also experimented with Korean Fiverr to market his services, which allowed him to attract initial customers. These efforts gradually evolved into a scalable business model with diverse digital offerings.

Launching the Business

Inquivix’s launch was modest, with Lee managing the company while retaining his day job. Initially, he offered services at very low prices to gain traction. As demand grew, he devoted more time to the business, conducting in-depth research to refine strategies like inbound marketing and SEO optimization.

The turning point came when Inquivix began generating consistent leads through its online presence. Lee reinvested his earnings into the business, avoiding loans or external funding. The early challenges of operating on minimal resources taught valuable lessons about resilience and adaptability.

Earnings

Today, Inquivix generates approximately $1.2 million annually, with steady growth driven by multinational clients. The company’s revenue model is based on providing high-quality SEO and digital marketing services that cater to a diverse clientele. By focusing on the unique needs of the Korean market, it has achieved significant success and consistent revenue growth.

Looking ahead, Inquivix aims to expand its offerings in Asia and beyond, with a continued emphasis on SEO and digital marketing innovation. Its commitment to learning from past mistakes and leveraging team expertise positions it for sustained success in the competitive marketing industry.
