OneHash, Inc.

About the Company
OneHash Inc. offers two main products: OneHash CRM and OneChat. OneHash CRM helps businesses manage sales, track performance, and monitor marketing campaigns through detailed reporting tools. It provides 90% of standard SaaS features but at a fraction of the cost, making it affordable for smaller enterprises. OneChat is an all-in-one customer assistance platform that integrates with third-party apps, supports omnichannel communication, and automates customer support.
The company’s products serve a variety of industries, including e-commerce, education, healthcare, agriculture, hospitality, and manufacturing. Its target audience is small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), helping them grow despite limited resources.
Idea Behind Company
Rohit’s entrepreneurial journey began in India, where he started small, selling SIM cards and doing odd jobs. His experience as a serial entrepreneur in finance and technology led him to create OneHash during the pandemic in 2020. The concept behind OneHash was to combine the agility of SaaS with the affordability of free and open-source software (FOSS), creating a new business model called FaaS (FOSS as a Service).
The aim was to develop a product that was robust, agile, and affordable for businesses of all sizes. By offering these services at a much lower cost than competitors, OneHash provided a solution to SMBs looking for the functionality of larger enterprise platforms without the high price tag.
Creating the Company
The journey to create OneHash was challenging. It started with a two-person team and an initial investment of $2 million from savings. Initially, people questioned the low-cost CRM solution, and finding dedicated employees who believed in the company’s mission was difficult. Despite these hurdles, the company grew steadily, with its first product, OneHash CRM, launched in 2020 after years of development.
Within a year of launch, OneHash had gained over 1,800 signups, 360 paying customers, and 200 recurring subscribers. In 2021, the company revamped its CRM product and launched OneChat in 2022. The continuous improvements have helped OneHash gain traction in the market.
Launching the Business
The launch of OneHash wasn’t smooth. Initially, the company focused on implementation projects, but they failed to gain traction. A key turning point came when they pivoted to a DIY model that allowed businesses to implement the CRM themselves. This shift, along with OneHash’s competitive pricing, helped differentiate the company in the crowded SaaS market.
OneHash offers its comprehensive tools at an affordable price—just $99 for unlimited users for OneHash CRM and $27 for OneChat. The company also provides detailed instructional videos and 24/5 support to help customers understand and use the platform effectively.
Earnings
Today, OneHash has over 410,000 signups and generates $12,000 in monthly revenue. The company's goal is to reach 10 million users in the next 10 years and capture 0.19% of the $96.5 billion SaaS market. They aim to generate $180 million in revenue by 2028. Offering free trials has also helped them build trust with potential customers, allowing businesses to try the product before committing.
OneHash's affordable pricing model and continuous innovations have positioned the company for future growth, with plans to expand its reach and customer base globally.
